We collect no personal data whatsoever.

All match data stays on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.

No account required. No sign-up. No email.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

1 Introduction

Padel Scorer ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a padel scoring application developed and operated by Muhab Abu Zeid. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it on iOS, Android, or Apple Watch.

We have designed Padel Scorer with privacy as a foundational principle, not an afterthought. The App does not require an internet connection to function, and by design does not transmit any data to external servers.

2 Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information.
We do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photo library.
We do not track your device identifier (IDFA, GAID, or similar).
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

      Match data you enter (team names, player names, scores) is stored exclusively in your device's local storage using standard platform APIs (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android). This data never leaves your device.
    

3 Third-Party Services

The free version of the App displays third-party advertisements. Ad delivery may involve:

The ad network collecting your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android) to serve contextual or interest-based ads, subject to your platform privacy settings.
Ad network cookies or equivalent technologies on your device.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time via your device settings:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Delete advertising ID"

      Purchasing the Remove Ads upgrade ($1.99, one-time) completely removes all third-party advertising SDKs from your session. No ad network code runs once ads are removed.
    

We do not integrate any analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar) in any version of the App.

4 In-App Purchases

The "Remove Ads" in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive, store, or process your payment card information. All billing data is handled by the respective platform under their own privacy policies:

5 Data Retention and Deletion

All match history and app preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by:

Deleting individual matches within the app's Match History screen.
Uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data.
On iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Padel Scorer → Delete App.

Because we hold no data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

6 Children's Privacy

Padel Scorer is a general-audience app suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data and do not require registration, the App is compatible with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7 Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data security is provided by your device's built-in protections — including device encryption, Face ID / Touch ID, and secure enclave features provided by iOS and Android. We recommend keeping your device OS up to date.

8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will provide a notice within the App.

9 Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by applicable law. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we collect no personal data, there is typically no data to access, correct, or erase — but you are welcome to contact us with any questions.
